Introducing AI Runner v1.15.1: Enhancing Stability and Drawing Tools

I am thrilled to announce the release of AI Runner v1.15.1, the latest version of our no-install Stable Diffusion application that allows you to generate images with Stable Diffusion on your own hardware. This update introduces several exciting features and enhancements that improve the overall user experience and streamline the workflow. In this blog post, we will explore the new additions and improvements in detail.

Line Rasterization: Improving Drawing Tools One of the highlights of this release is the introduction of line rasterization, which marks the first step towards achieving better and more responsive drawing tools. With this enhancement, users can expect smoother and more accurate lines while creating their diffusion images. This improvement will undoubtedly empower artists and designers to unleash their creativity with greater precision and control. You can expect to see more improvements to these features in subsequent releases. This also means that image filters will now work with your brushes, and the eraser will erase pixels rather than line segments.

Batch Interrupt Button: Enhanced Functionality We are pleased to inform you that the long-awaited fix for the batch interrupt button has been implemented in this update. Previously, users encountered issues with this feature, but we have rectified the problem, and it now works as expected. This improvement enables users to interrupt and stop batch processes seamlessly, enhancing the application’s flexibility and efficiency.

Backend Code Improvements: Simplified Management In our continuous efforts to provide a seamless user experience, we have made significant improvements to the backend code. These enhancements not only ensure smoother operation but also make the codebase easier to manage. By optimizing the underlying infrastructure, we aim to offer a more stable and reliable environment for users to generate their diffusion images.

Enhanced Lora Tab: Better Monitoring With this update, users can now view the total Loras available and currently in use.

Scheduler Loading and Switch Fixes: Faster and Correct Switching We have resolved an issue related to scheduler loading and switch for ckpt (checkpoint) and safetensor files. As a result, users will experience faster and correct switching between schedulers. This fix streamlines the workflow, allowing users to switch between different modes and configurations with fewer delays or unexpected results.

Model Merger Fixes: Improved Functionality In response to user feedback, we have addressed various issues related to the model merger functionality. The fixes implemented in this release enhance the overall performance and reliability of the model merger. Users can now enjoy a smoother and more accurate merging process.

In addition to these changes a bug which prevented AI Runner from launching in v1.15.0 has been patched.

AI Runner v1.15.1 introduces a range of exciting features and enhancements aimed at providing users with a more stable, efficient, and enjoyable experience when generating stable diffusion images. With improvements in drawing tools, fixes to critical features, optimized backend code, enhanced monitoring capabilities, and a more reliable model merger, this update signifies our commitment to continuous improvement and user satisfaction. We look forward to hearing your feedback and invite you to explore the latest version of AI Runner to unlock new possibilities in your creative endeavors.
